Make a Difference in Washington — One Can at a Time
On June 25th, 2025, something truly special is happening at Farm 12 in Puyallup, Washington. Golden Services LLC is teaming up with Move For Hunger to host a one-of-a-kind community event called Team Build. This interactive, hands-on experience brings together businesses, families, and friends to build incredible structures using non-perishable food — all of which will be donated to a local food bank.
Team Build isn’t just a fun, creative challenge — it’s a way for the community to come together and take meaningful action against hunger right here in Washington State.
What Is the Team Build Event?
Team Build is more than just a team-building activity. It’s a community-wide initiative to fight food insecurity in a fun and impactful way. Teams of 5–10 people will design and construct imaginative structures made entirely out of canned and boxed food items. The event is packed with energy, creativity, and purpose — with prizes, food, drinks, and event shirts to celebrate everyone’s participation.
Whether you’re a business owner looking to boost employee engagement or a group of friends eager to do some good, this event offers the perfect opportunity to have fun while giving back.
All food used during the builds will be donated directly to a local Washington food bank. Every can and every box contributes to feeding families in need.
Supporting the Mission of Move For Hunger
Move For Hunger is a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to fighting hunger and reducing food waste. They’ve turned the moving industry into a powerful force for good by collecting unopened, non-perishable food from people during the moving process and delivering it to local food banks.
Since its founding in 2009, Move For Hunger has helped provide over 47 million meals to families across the country. In Washington State alone, more than 1 million meals have reached struggling households thanks to the organization’s work and community events like Team Build.
With 1 in 7 children in Washington living in food-insecure households, this event plays a vital role in supporting local families and ensuring fewer kids go to bed hungry.

How to Get Involved
There are two primary ways to take part in the Team Build event: forming a team or becoming a sponsor.
Form a Team
Gather your coworkers, family, or friends and form a group of 5 to 10 participants. As a team, you’ll work together to build something amazing — all using donated, non-perishable food. It’s a perfect opportunity to strengthen bonds, get creative, and do something that truly matters.
