On Wednesday, June 25th, 2025, the community of Puyallup, Washington, will come together for a powerful cause. Golden Services LLC is partnering with Move For Hunger to host Team Build 2025, an interactive event at Farm 12 designed to raise awareness and support for local hunger relief efforts.
This one-of-a-kind experience invites teams from businesses, families, and organizations to construct creative structures using only canned and boxed non-perishable food. All the food used in the event will be donated to local food banks, providing meals to families across Washington State.
A Unique Team-Building Experience with Purpose
Team Build is far more than your average team-building activity. Teams of 5 to 10 people will collaborate to design and build imaginative structures made entirely of food. The event promises an exciting, high-energy atmosphere complete with music, food, drinks, team shirts, and prizes for standout creations.
It’s an opportunity to build stronger bonds, unleash creativity, and make a tangible difference in the fight against hunger. There’s no experience or special skills required — just a desire to contribute to a good cause.
Every can and box of food used in these structures will help fill shelves at a local food bank, delivering essential support to families experiencing food insecurity.
Move For Hunger: Turning Moves into Meals
Move For Hunger is a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit that collaborates with moving companies across North America to collect and donate unopened, non-perishable food. When families move, movers affiliated with Move For Hunger offer to collect unwanted food and deliver it directly to local food banks.
Since 2009, Move For Hunger has delivered over 47 million meals to communities in need. In Washington State alone, more than 1 million meals have reached food-insecure households thanks to the organization’s ongoing efforts and community-focused events like Team Build.
With 1 in 7 children in Washington living in food-insecure homes, the need for support remains urgent.
