At Golden Services LLC, our unwavering commitment to providing genuine and high-quality customer service has been the cornerstone of our mission since our establishment in 1992. Founded by Ed Zielinski, our journey began with a heartfelt desire to serve the military personnel stationed at Ft. Lewis and McChord AFB, WA, by offering a personalized and caring approach to moving their households, treating their belongings as if they were our own. This deeply personal commitment to our customers remains unchanged throughout the years.
In our early days, we operated from a single warehouse, a modest office, and just a handful of moving trucks. Yet, as our vision to build a company rooted in integrity and personal attention became a reality, Golden Services LLC has evolved into the largest moving, storage, and port services provider in the state of Washington.
Today, boasting five branch warehouse locations and a dedicated team of over 140 Golden Services LLC members, we successfully manage more than 7,000 household and office relocations each year. Our steadfast dedication to excellence extends beyond our customers to encompass our community and valued team members.
Our Journey to Growth and Achievement
Here’s a snapshot of our journey to becoming the industry leader we are today: 2017: We expanded our reach with the acquisition of Lile Moving & Storage’s Spokane Valley WA branch 2017: Diversifying our services, we ventured into logistics and warehousing, with a 63,000 square foot facility designed to handle freight of all kinds 2016: To accommodate our growing customer base, our port services division relocated to a new warehouse in Fife, WA 2012: Our Lakewood, WA, warehouse also expanded to meet the needs of our growing clientele 2010: We welcomed Viking Moving Service, Inc., based in Anacortes, WA, into the Golden Services LLC family, enhancing our ability to serve military, residential, and commercial customers in the North Sound region 2007: Continued growth led to an expansion of our Lakewood warehouse space 2005: We launched our long haul fleet to provide extended service capabilities 2002: Golden Services LLC joined forces with Arpin Van Lines as an agent affiliate 1999: To meet the needs of international customers and their Port of Seattle and Port of Tacoma import/export requirements, we established our port services division 1997: Expert Moving and Storage, Inc acquired Golden Services, LLC, broadening the range of moving and storage solutions we offer 1996: We partnered with National Van Lines, becoming an agent affiliate 1994: To accommodate our growth, we moved into a larger warehouse facility 1992: Our journey began with the establishment of Expert Moving & Storage, Inc in Lakewood, WA, specifically to serve military families at Ft. Isaac, Jake and Ethan delivered our furniture on Jan. 19, 2024 and things could not have gone better! Not only were these guys very organized with making sure the appropriate boxes/furniture went to the correct rooms but they were also SO quick. Close to 7000lbs of items unloaded in just about 4 hours... wow! I also found them pleasant to talk to.. very good humored guys! Hang onto workers like these because they will take your company far! I've never had the luxury of hiring movers and it's the best purchase I could have made. The crew (Peter, Franco, Leo and Jacek) all showed up on time, introduced themselves and just started to work. Everything was loaded up, transported and unloaded all within 4 hours. I couldn't recommend Golden Services more for your next move.
These people just did my PCS move. Great and happy workers, who seem to love what they do. Quality of work was very great as they handled everything with care while also wasting no time. Highly recommend!
The team was very informative, they let me know when the truck was loaded and when they were enroute, then they called to verify the apartment number and where they could set up. After arrival they conducted a walk through to identify where certain items went and after they got right to work unloading the truck. Super through and even helped locate three items that were tagged and boxed up. They were very professional and very courteous. Hands down highly satisfied with Golden's services, i would highly recommend them to anyone.
